Kick Ass
The trailers I saw for this film make it look a bit stupid and not totally incredible. But I got free tickets to a preview screening last night and it turns out it is totally incredible. So go and see it.

Re: Kick Ass
seen this 3 times already, including at the London Premiere
Had been waiting nearly a year for this
Its no where near as good as the comics story, but the film is still awesome

your friends will be missing out of one of the funniest and best action films of the year
plus they will miss out on seeing Hit-Girl, one of the greatest heroes ever

It's decided. I'm going on my own.
Re: Kick Ass
The trailer makes it look crap, but if its good I'd go see it. And Aaron Johnson, fitty, but I think being with his 42 yo fiance has made him fugly...

Trust me, the trailer gives nothing much away, so you will be completely surprised by what you see when you watch the film,
as there is a lot of violence and good comedy in it
Plus its not like your Hollywood superhero movies, as this is an Independent British made film and comic

Sucks this has Nicholas Cage in it though. Makes it simply appealing instead of very appealing.

Nick Cage's best role in forever. Or at least since The Rock. But that was a fucking good film.

Re: Kick Ass
Saw it last night. Fucking wow. Nothing like I expected (which was a Superbad style superhero spoof)
Seriously, the story and acting and characters and action and humour... it's all immense.
Could easily watch it again right now.
One of my faves ever.
(Just putting it out there... my sister's friend's dad did the lighting for that film. Kudos to him)
