Post by Jennie on Fri 19 Mar 2010, 5:34 pm

Those who attended their recent uk shows or have checked them out on myspace, will agree when i say they're AWESOME.
One of my favourites right now. A real treat if you like pop punk...

Want.

They were brilliant in Glasgow last week, even though the sound in the venue was horrible. We got a full-band version of Mt St. Joseph aswell, it was excellent.

So glad they re-arranged this to fit around the ADTR and YMAS gigs.

They had an interview with a girl on Punktastic.

"They're coming back in September, probably with LYU again, but they also want to bring over another American band, like Fireworks, Title Fight, We Are The Union, This Time Next Year or something, would be over the moon with any of those!"

Should be good.

Their Motown covers album sounds awesome, can't wait for it to be released. The version of 'I Want You Back' they've put up is excellent.

There's a full tour, don't think all dates are out yet. Random dates are getting posted on Punktastic. Guy there says Leeds (which I'm assuming is the date you're looking for) is definitely at the Cockpit, but he can't remember the date. Dates so far are:

18th Sept - Dublin
19th Sept - Bournemouth ibar
27th Sept - Glasgow Classic Grand
28th Sept - Northampton Soundhouse
29th Sept - Manchester Retro Bar

Not Advised and LYU are on (at least) the Dublin and Nothampton dates, LYU are on the Manchester date too along with "special guests".

Glasgow date's a mistake, it's at the Classic Grand, not the Captain's Rest. I'd shit myself if it was at the Captain's Rest - it's like a basement, holds about 150 people and it's practically pitch black. I seen PBC there and it was insane.

Still gonna be awesome though, can't wait for it. Kinda disappointed Not Advised had to pull out though.

Whoa, Macbeth is TINY and literally no more than a 10-min walk away! This area gets such awesome gigs nowadays, lovin' it.
