Shikari Ink

Post by elviiin on Thu 04 Mar 2010, 12:45 pm

There's a few on the offical site, has anyone on here got one?

If you were to get an ES lyric tattooed, what would you get?

(I don't think anyone does have an ES tattoo on this forum?)

I'm defo thinking of getting a 'this all I need to feel alive' tattoo with some musical notes. It's pretty ambiguous and is basically what I think of music Smile

I'm considering 'And still we will be here, standing like statues'. A re-occuring lyric from TTTS and slightly in Common Dreads that I like.

LOL. It's an epic chorus but I think in terms of tattoo's, people may just look at it and think 'erm... oookkkayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy >_>'

I don't get folk getting stuff tattooed in foreign languages... or at least ones they don't speak. [Don't know if Liam speaks chinese, just saying]

The other day my mate was saying he might get a line from a song or something tattooed and at the end he goes "of course, I wouldn't get it in English"

Why the hell not? Neutral

Because it's more inconspicuous. Having writing in English seems quite dull to me. Chinese has a quite artistic writing style and looks good for tattoos.

Getting a band tattoo is fucking retarded most of the time, for a band like Enter Shikari especially. When you're 50-odd do you want a mark on you that signifies you spent a portion of your life listening to trancecore and throwing galactic-horse-spunk glowsticks around dark rooms full of topless sweaty men? Think about it kids.

yep, totally right there.
it was a bit of a crazy idea getting a killers tattoo, i know that.. so many people told me i will regret it so i made sure i thought about it long and heard before i got one relating to them. i dont regret it at all and i don't think i will really. the 3 words on my wrist do mean something to be so i reckon il like it for quite some time!
