Now to me this looks like a big iPod touch and with a price tag of £300 minimum, worth it?

Exactly my viewpoint. The thing is pretty pointless!

my brother says the next generation's one will have a camera or something.. imagine how much of a twat you'd look trying to take a picture with that.

I'd never use it for anything other than taking notes in college for. But you would have to get used to the touch keys, or use the keyboard attachment. But you'd look like an idiot with that.

The keyboard attatchment takes the whole more portable thing away from it.

Hardly 'revolutionary.'

Think of the money they're gonna make from it though. Hype x fanboys = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. As useless as I think it is, I think they're gonna sell well, so it's not a failure by Apple.
There is a market for it, see ereaders and people wanting a smartphone with a bigger screen, and there's enough arseholes with more money than sense wanting shiny things.

But Stephen Fry likes it so I do too. You don't argue with Stephen.

I think it looks kinda cool. Mainly since it's apple.
But it is mildly pointless.
Still kinna sweet though.

It looks cool and probably is a great piece of kit but it has no Flash support which sucks major...

It's like a touch-screen Wii Fit..
