Smoking

That's a bit like saying "I ate pasta with tomato sauce for two nights in a row. Am I a vegetarian?".
No. Just because a veggie might do that doesn't make me one, and similarly with the McDonalds situation.

Smoking is addictive and it causes you harm, although I'm told it can relax you. Stale tobacco smoke, that gets into your clothes, smells vile.

I've never smoked. My dad's morning cough was enough to put anyone off. he died of cancer, so did my mum, who also smoked when she was young. She died of undiagnosed cancer of the stomach and pancreas.

I just don't see the point of smoking. True it can calm you down, but there is a plethora of other ways to accomplish that that don't cause you harm. It makes you smell bad, it turns your teeth yellow, it makes you cough, and it kills you.....what's enticing about it? I understand it's addictive but there are ways to get off it.

Yeah but what I meant by that is that I eat fast food a lot but I'm fine. Nevermind.

I don't see the reason for starting smoking nowadays, outside of the whole school/peer pressure situation. You look at the price, and what it does to you, just not appealing at all! And it isn't nice kissing a smoker either, so no brownie points there!

So many people in my school smoke. I'm glad I don't, thinking about the money I save and my health.

I never used to pay for cigs. My mate bought tobacco and she used to roll for me, haha.

The fag that's in the garage is tempting me. May have to have it with a beer....

Jay has gone out to smoke about 6 million times since he's been here. -_-

I don't see the point in smoking, unless it's weed.

I broke my 2/3 weeks not smoking on Saturday.

It's funny how all the people "against" smoking come out the woodwork if it's offered to someone to them associated with a band or summit, especially girls...

i first tried smoking when i was 14, and between then and 16ish i did it a lot more than i do these days. ive only ever done it socially, and have never had any intention of taking it up properly - but i guess that renders the whole idea even more pointless.

Can someone please tell me though, why when you offer a non-smoker a cigarette do they see it as an insult, even if you didn't know they were a non-smoker?
