Green Day Mega Shows- June 2010

Green Day’s recent sold-out tour wowed audiences with the band’s inimitable combination of frenzied punk energy, theatrical flourishes and euphoric crowd participation. Reiterating their status as one of the world’s most electrifying live bands, the shows featured a huge array of Green Day’s hits including ‘Basket Case’, ‘Longview’, ‘Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)’, ‘Minority’, ‘American Idiot’, ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’, ‘Know Your Enemy’ and ’21 Guns.’

Now Green Day can confirm their first UK stadium shows since their famous two-night stand at Milton Keynes National Bowl in 2005 that was later documented in their live album ‘Bullet In A Bible’. In addition to the two shows on these shores, the full details of which are as below, Green Day will also play the Parc des Princes in Paris on June 26th.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am, Friday 6th November at a price of £49.50 and £42.50 for London, and £39.50 for Manchester. Tickets are limited to six per applicant and under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

Really wanted to go with my dad and he gave me his card to get tickets but my mum couldn't get any good ones so didn't get any at all.

Paramore wont be doing the Wembley date though, they have a gig in Germany then, so who knows who itll be..

going to Wembley woo. can't believe that i waited 4 years to see Green Day now I'll have seen them twice in the space of 7 months .

Hoping that there's one or two more support bands added to the line up never heard of Frank Turner and Joan Jett only has a few song everybodies bound to know.

That's it now :/ it is a bit lame especially when other shows get the likes of Paramore and Rise Against, this is suppose to be Green Day's biggest show of their career you would of though that they could get the support that justifies this. But at the end of the day im there to see my band Green Day play a show and the less support acts the better. Get them out early that's what I say.
