Re: Take to the Skies vs Common Dreads.
It's very different naturally, I think if a band doesn't at least try and make a few tweaks to their sound it get's old fast, but of the new stuff we've heard I fucking love it. I don't think the change is as extreme as some people are making out though, they still sound like the Enter Shikari I know and love, TTTS was amazing, I'm confident Common Dreads will be a brilliant album.

I hate to dissect this post, but honestly it needs to be done. 1) Bands go through changes, it's gonna happen regardless of how sudden it is or how long it takes. Deal with it, because chances are you will end up liking the new music more than the old. 2) Of course it doesn't seem the same, it isn't! 3) You can't pluralize the term "one hit wonder", because it doesn't make sense. 4) Rap? Really? Where in any of their new songs does the genre RAP appear? haha. 5) Screamo, kick ass funky techno, it's all still there. Just be open to a new sound.

I'm really looking forward to hearing CD! I'v heard some of the songs live and they are sounding great!
tbh I don't think that you can compare the 2 albums till we have heard CD in it's entirety.
personally I think its gonna be absolutely fooking amazing!

Re: Take to the Skies vs Common Dreads.
Common Dreads is so much better than TTTS.
Then again, with the standard of the first album, I'd be worried if it wasn't.

although I understand what you are saying, you can pluralize the term such as "These bands are all one-hit wonders." In the context as it is used however, the plural version doesn't make sense.

No i dont think so.lol
And plus you prob's only heard one or two(maybe three) of there new songs so how could you say that so soon??
Re: Take to the Skies vs Common Dreads.
Live I've heard Solidarity, Hectic, The Jester, Antwerpen, Juggernauts, Step Up and Havoc A & B ie. Over half of the album.
The songs and the band themselves have matured so much, I like the sound so much more. Obviously, I LOVE TTTS but I definately prefer Common Dreads.

You got burned/owned/served by Niamh.
Deal with it.
Also, it would help sooooo much better if you could actually type.
I have no tolerance for anything at the moment, and your terribly typed post is about to send me over the edge.
