My Desktop?
I auto-adjusted my screen cause it was looking a bit blurry, i do it every now and again, and then this black line came up. How am i suppose to get rid of it?!
I just print screened my desktop so i could stick it up here to show you, but it hasnt come up?

the line is about an inch wide and its on the right hand side of my desktop. you cant really see it in this picture, but my icons at the bottom have all gone abit thinner and are out of proportion. :/

Re: My Desktop?
That's a problem with your screen then. Is it a CRT monitor (I still have one, fuck you Jed) or an LCD? If it's an LCD, then you could try massaging it out.

Macboy still has cathode ray tubes, megalolz.
Looks like a screen problem to me aswell as there doesn't seem anything wrong with the screenshot itself...
Re: My Desktop?
I just pressed auto adjust again, and its back to normal now.
hopefully it wont happen again, if it does, ill just do what i did last night and just leave it turned off for a few hours.

Re: My Desktop?
I'm assuming you're using a TV/PC combo thing?
Because I use one and it does that too.
The main problem is because the TV is set differently to monitors. Most monitors are set by a number of pixels by length and breadth but tvs are done by inches and if it's widescreen then it will have a ratio.
So my tv is 19" 9:10 radio but in pixels it's 1360x768.
That's also the reason it hasn't come up when you print screened. It's because the TV has aligned the desktop wrong not because the graphics card is doing anything wrong.
I don't think there is much you can do to fix it except turning off your TV at the mains and turning it back on again or just keep auto aligning it.
Hope this shedded some light =]
