Re: Harry Potter
i enjoyed it but was very annoyed at alot of it.
the director has changed so so much from the book it's ridiculous. most of it doesnt make sense. and the bit with the burrow being burnt down, that never ever happened.

Re: Harry Potter
Just saw it...eeehh they are disgraceful actors. However there was great direction and ideas, I did enjoy it and still think Hermione is ugly.

Yeah what was that all about? Bellatrix and Fenrir just came outta nowhere and then they all just ran through a field.
Didn't make sense.
And I agree, there are too many changes from the book. Like in Knockturn Alley and Harry and Ginny kissing in the Room of Requirement.
Oh, and also the end where Harry and Dumbledore apparate to Hogsmeade was all changed.
It was a good movie but after reading the book all the changes are noticeable. There was nothing about the muggle prime minister and the funeral wasn't in the movie either. Sigh.
Re: Harry Potter
done an all nighter at work tues nite, so watched it 3 times, 1st time i felt disappointed with it and was excepting more from it
Luna made me laugh everytime so i was happy, just wanted her character to be in it more haha
but by the end of the 3rd time watching it, i did enjoy it more, cause i think i understood things more as i've never read the books, so don't know the stories
but i did read the director wanted to make it a bit different and put things in the film not in the book

I really wish they had put the funeral in! & the burning burrow part was a whole load of wtf, saying that, I think Harry on the Felix potion (with his "pincers") & the bathroom fight with Malfoy were brilliant & really well done
Re: Harry Potter
I saw it last night, I really enjoyed it! I've only read the first 4 books and the last two films I've really liked, this one especially, so I think it might help a bit if you haven't read the book because you're not comparing it or anything.
I loved Ron, I thought he was hilarious. Harry was funny in places too, and Malfoy was brilliant. Good to see him getting a bigger part and not just being a 'bullying' character.
NO. RON IS MINE.

Haha, yeah Harry on Felix was funny as fuck.
And when you first saw Luna in that Lion costume I was pissing myself. She's so brilliant.

Re: Harry Potter
I thought it was good, not quite so dramatic or 'dark' as it could of been or compared to some of the others. Loved all the comedy, had me laughing a lot. Thought the whole Ginny and Harry thing was a bit much at times, but the Ron/Lavender/Hermonie thing was all done very well.
Really want to see it again as I can't remember half of it now.

I enjoyed it. This is the first of the films that I havent been bothered by how unlike the books they are. I think I have come to terms with the fact that they are based so loosely on the books that they can only just be called by the same name!
That said, it does annoy me how they missed out Dobby and Kreacher from this one again, they are integral to final book so curious as to how they are gonna finish it. And all the back story missing, like seeing Voldemorts parents and grandparents. They could have put less teen romance in!
I love Fred and Georges shop - I wanna go in it!!

Re: Harry Potter
it felt like they just threw ginny and harry together, didn't seem like any chemistry between the two, its like they just said this is crucial to the last book so we will just get you together now for 5 mins and get it over and done with haha

I saw it last night, and really enjoyed it, and now that I've seen people saying how much has been missed out has made me remember how much was missed out, if you get me, seen as I haven't read the book since it came out so had kind of forgotten the story!
I want to see the last two now! And I thought the guy who fancied Hermoione was fit

Yup, the guy who liked Hermione, Cormac McLaggen, he was a cutie!
I just came back from watching it and I quite enjoyed it, more than the Order of the Phoenix, but once again it missed out a lot from the book, and some of it was rushed...But then, you can only do so much in a movie. :/

Re: Harry Potter
^ That's why it's good they're splitting the last book into two films, means they won't miss as much out!
