Good man.

Whats your fav song?

I'm always digging "Rudie Can't Fail"... amazing riff.
"Complete Control", "I Fought The Law" and ofc "London Calling" are sick too.

Fair few bands seem to be even sampling or covering them recently (well not that recent) -
"Police On My Back" (Lethal Bizzle did a cover), and "Straight To Hell" with M.I.A's "Paper Planes".

Good stuff.

I can't see how anybody can not like this band Smile. Godfathers of punk less style than the Sex Pistols but definitely more substance.

Loved everything dude, favourite track would probably be Guns of Brixton. I think the self titled and London Calling are probably two of the most important punk records ever made. The rawness of the self titled still makes it sound pretty fresh each time

Yeah great band.
Faviourite songs probobly "White Riot". In the vocals you can tell Joe Strummer really means what he's singing. And how pissed he is about it.

Lol my mum always says im like all her mates from the 70s, like personality, somewhat dress sense, political views and music haha

to be fair though, probably best and most exciting time for music, the 70s.

But post 2003 we'v had Akon, P Diddy, The Game, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Beyonce and countless women been made into objects by men of african american persuasion who overshop in the argos jewellry section.

Iv lost count of the number of videos shot in big boats, hot tubs and low rider cars, and bright orange "pants" and tops of basketball, baseball and american "football" Rolling Eyes teams Iv never heard of are now the staple feature of my wardrobe.

Surely now is a better time?
