glasgow abc october 09

seems like a bunch of us are going to glasgow,both scots and foreigners. Try to keep discussion in here. Its my only confirmed date,but il probably be at dundee,maybe aberdeen. Im giving england a miss,since i ALWAYS go down south,would be nice to see some of you guys up here. For those of you who say its too fas,you can be in london from glasgow in 45 min by air,4 hrs by train,and its usually the same price as going from the midlands. Hell,ryanair do ldn glasgow for a quid,virgin do brum to glasgow for 3! So id like to invite y'all to my back yard for an es party....whos game?

BMI Baby have RIDICULOUS cheap flights from east midlands.

Ryanair will do it for under a tenner from london (to Glasgow prestwick, our 2nd airport, 25 mins by train to the city centre)

I'm gonna see if I can get a lift off someone. Is anyone planning on driving from anywhere?

If you're flying, there's a train station at the airport, and you get 50% off train tickets to Glasgow(more 35 minutes). Or to Ayr (about 10 minutes from the airport), where you might be able to scadge a lift.

For those of you in England wishing to travel...the daily record (scottish paper) will be offering £11.50 singles (£23 return) from london to Glasgow, or anywhere in between that the national express train stops at.

Youl probably also be able to get tickets to aberdeen, but not Dundee.
