Mumford and Sons will never sound good, no matter how remixed or rehashed they are.

TW should be promoted to the highest echelons of internet stardom for this remark.

Malky, slagging Mumford really isn't justified when you've paid to go and see fucking Young Guns. Your musical opinion stands for nil once you start bopping around at gigs with gyrating 14 year old greebs.

Warner, to you anything that has the remotest of wobbles is 'phat', 'juicy', 'meaty', 'tasty' or one of several other words that hold a shit connotation for 'good'. Once you stop this, get out of Youth Small and stop wearing ironic glow in the dark tee-shirts I might listen to what you have to say.

Blow me, both of you.

Me too. Although I loved Rosie & Jim when I was a kid, so I was happy enough to watch the video.

I wont disagree with you, because I preferred playing on vinyl and they still get loads of massive releases on 12" but in a practical world if you want to play on vinyl you can buy DVS' and get the same effects as playing on them without having to have a huge room dedicated to all the vinyl you own.

As for playing out with them it is quite rare you even get vinyl turn tables in a club(saw only my second pair in a club last night after countless clubbing experiences)

Vinyl will always be better than Disc. The sound quality is far better (particularly at loud volumes) 'cause of analog waveform. In terms of feedback and tactile response you can't beat vinyl either. A needle physically reading the grooves is much more effective than a laser reading a disc and (producing a digital sound)
For the best, organic sound go with vinyl. If you want to scratch properly and get the best response use vinyl. If you're strapped for cash and have most you music in digital/CD form, go elsewhere.

Seeing as this is a 'dubstep' thread too it's worth mentioning this genre in particular benefits from playback on vinyl. The wobbles/drops are unlikely to peak or fall flat, whereas even at FLAC level, digital music will always have some (even minute) hindrance on the sound.
