But I do love it as a genre! xD
Dub is something totally different mate

Re: Dubstep___
How is it "totally different"? Dubstep is a hybrid of Dub and 2-step, so it obviously has relevance.
Re: Dubstep___
yeah it has relevance for sure, but sound wise, it's just not the same.
It's not like calling Pop-Punk "Punk" there's quite a gap in there

Re: Dubstep___
As partial as I am to a bit of dubstep, it's a big joke now, just a remix genre. Fade out in a year or two like garage did? Just wait for Craig David to do a dubstep track.

I found two Mumford and Sons "dubstep" remixes on youtube last night. They were the epitome of shite, in concept and in quality.

Mumford and Sons will never sound good, no matter how remixed or rehashed they are.

TW should be promoted to the highest echelons of internet stardom for this remark.

Rou said he loved Mumford on facebook recently, therefore by default shouldnt you love Mumford?
Re: Dubstep___
Malky, slagging Mumford really isn't justified when you've paid to go and see fucking Young Guns. Your musical opinion stands for nil once you start bopping around at gigs with gyrating 14 year old greebs.
Warner, to you anything that has the remotest of wobbles is 'phat', 'juicy', 'meaty', 'tasty' or one of several other words that hold a shit connotation for 'good'. Once you stop this, get out of Youth Small and stop wearing ironic glow in the dark tee-shirts I might listen to what you have to say.
Blow me, both of you.

Me too. Although I loved Rosie & Jim when I was a kid, so I was happy enough to watch the video.

I wont disagree with you, because I preferred playing on vinyl and they still get loads of massive releases on 12" but in a practical world if you want to play on vinyl you can buy DVS' and get the same effects as playing on them without having to have a huge room dedicated to all the vinyl you own.
As for playing out with them it is quite rare you even get vinyl turn tables in a club(saw only my second pair in a club last night after countless clubbing experiences)
