VersaEmerge - For Fans of Paramore

Find this AMAZING band last night. On the surface you'll assume they're a Paramore rip off, but look even slightly deeper and it's obvious they've got their own thing going. The vocalist is NUTS too! She's writing some of the best harmonies I've ever heard and selects the most unpredictable yet amazing notes. Good drummer and keyboardist too.

Been listening to them for a while now. They are good. (Singer does sound like a carbon-copy of Hayley Williams though)

Not a massive fan, but I will admit Past Praying For is a tune!

No one beats Haylay though Voice wise I think she's carbon copy, but this girl's really got chops and has some interesting parts and harmonies. It's just killing me how good those vocals parts are.

They are. Though I reckon Paramore will leave FBR after this album.

Apparently FBR are going bust anyways! Don't particularly like Versa, much prefer Paramore, more upbeat.

Aye Sierra sounds similar to Hayley but not as powerful. I've never actually given VE a proper listen, heard the odd song and she's sang on an ADTR track.

I've only heard her on the ADTR track.

Man, VE were GREAT at Warped! I was surprised, and dear god does Sierra ever look SO SEXY live! She kept staring at me at me during the show while I was singing and head banging xD I only say that with confidence that it was in fact me because after the show we were talking for quite a while and got along awesome.

I saw VE at GIAN and they were amazing live! We met them afterwards and theyre really nice people, they didnt always sound like paramore though, they adapted to that sound after Sierra joined the band. That bassist Devin is mighty fine too
