Now that I have a MacBook, I don't think I could ever go back to windows. I tried using my friend's and I forgot everything about it.

Haha well it is a beta, that's what beta's are for. Developers bug-test the beta and feedback to Microsoft so they can patch bugs and that. :') Don't think your Internet would be slowed by the OS though, probably the browser! Switching to Mac was the best thing I ever did though! Not a fan of how Windows 8 is turning out atm!

Yeah, I get that it will be a little buggy, like iTunes is a lot slower and crashes more. And before I upgraded, Chrome was incredibly fast, and now it's frustratingly slow and buggy. Wish I had just stayed on windows 7, and now the only way to go back is to reinstall from scratch :/

Yep, if you ever try out a beta OS you should partition your hard drive and dual boot, so when you've finished with it or don't like it, just delete the partition it's on and carry on using Windows 7. The software will be buggy because it's not supported, in the sense that Apple and Google haven't even thought about making their software support Windows 8 because it's not out till about Q4 2012/Q1 2013 Smile bit of a bummer my friend!

I love Windows 7, but I have no clue what the hell they're thinking with 8. Def a step in the wrong direction, focusing way too much on tablets... its looking like shit. Anyways, Windows 8 is still in a very early state. its still nowhere near what the finished product will be like. Also, itunes and chrome wont work well because they dont support it yet. Should never install a beta over your main OS, BAD idea!
