Everyone's turning 18 around the same time and having bloody fancy dress themes, meaning I'm going to be incredibly broke until December or have to say no to some parties. Plus, a girl we made friends with last year who moved to our school (and has now gone to another college) wants us to buy her a charm from Tiffany's. I wouldn't even ask my best friend to dish out so much money for that, and considering we haven't known her long, I think that's incredibly cheeky of her.

Mum's going on holiday in Feb and decided she's going to leave me to look after my siblings (who are 3,6 and 14) along with one of my brother's carers. She's currently pissed off with me because for some reason she expected me to cook, clean the house and watch my siblings as well as my school work, and I told her that was too much to expect. Now I'm being called selfish and she won't let me print off my homework.

Failed one of my resits, I'm not sure if I can get in to Honours with a fail, not had a letter from the uni like I've had every other year before telling me if I can progress, had my head lecturer who asked me to come in and when I said I couldn't, asked if he could phone me then hasn't done so in four days. Now everybody else has had an email from the head lecturer about the first week back, I've not had it and I'm not looking forward to this shite.

Malky, if your course is 360 CATS points then you can fail one 20 credit unit and get an HONs still

I can't, we get 3 modules per semester that are 20 credits each, done 3 years, I've only got 340 points meaning I'm fucked for a year.

Yeah nothing's come of it. I think the story goes he was stabbed for wearing a Celtic shirt so I imagine some bitter celtic fans were wanting to cause a carry on.
