Re: More UK Tour Dates 2012
Yo basically I wanna book my Edinburgh train tonight or tomorrow while it's still cheap. I tried my best to find a train back to Hull pretty cheap but it's not happening so the only way I can make Edinburgh (and I really really want to) is if I could ride with someone back down (or give me a heads up on a cheap train!)
Re: More UK Tour Dates 2012
I'm debating driving back to newcastle but that's as far as i'm going i'm afraid!

It's a single on the train for £20 if you have a railcard, man. We're getting the train down, haven't booked a time yet, but feel free to join us.

I had a look and it's £20 for specific times only. I would go for that but I don't wanna risk booking a train too early that I end up missing it from whatever shenanigans occur the night before. Anytime single is £65 too...

I know, it's a proper bump, I'm trying to figure out a cheaper way down, but it's not happening.
Trying to find the venue for Hull, is it in a place called Asylum? Or is it actually called Hull University? All I could find was that Asylum place.

Asylum is the on-campus club at Hull university.

So it's not in there then?
I was just searching for whatever venue it is, trying to find out where it is and the capacity, but that Asylum place is all i could find.

Sorry I should've been more clear! Yep it's at Asylum which is within Hull university's campus.
Asylum is pretty much the uni's club and gig venue, I'd say it holds about 500-800 people in the main room but only about 100-200 on the main dance floor which is infront of the stage. There's loads of standing area around the bar and seats etc but overall the room is pretty small compared to most venues. Think Hull will be the smallest show of the tour. Only problem is it can get really hard to see the stage when the venue is packed so it's probably best to head down early if you want a spectacular view.

Cheers lovely! Wow, didn't expect it to be that small. The websites and stuff weren't too clear, bloody uni venues.
Really excited now!

Basically got the OK from work to have the week of the 19th March off, that means can definitely do Manchester as well as London.
I'm considering doing Wolves as well, who else is doing that show?

Have a quick look at the gig register for a brief idea I guess Bess. I'm definitely doing it since i'm from there and it gives me a nice excuse to see my parents again haha
Re: More UK Tour Dates 2012

I wasn't sure how many people bothered doing the register thing haha, but it seems a few are going at least

After weighing up my options, I think I'll be driving up to Edinburger and then down to Hull. There's not really any time difference, and it means I can stop off at home for a bit to break the journey instead of hanging about in train stations. Do you want a lift?

Absolutely Marie, that would be excellent! Does this mean I get to see big Phil again?
EDIT: Also just realised the dates are coming up fast so everyone should start organising transport etc with one another to save hassle and money! If anybody is doing Manchester and Wolverhampton and may be driving hit me up and i'll split fuel costs with you!
I have a ticket to London but not sure if i'll be doing the date because of that awkward 3 days between Wolves and London.
Re: More UK Tour Dates 2012
Those of you doing the Manchester show, which hotel are you thinking of staying in? I've only been to Manc once so I don't know much about the place and I'd like to stay in the same hotel as you lot (though maybe not the same room
).
Re: More UK Tour Dates 2012
I'll be stopping at my best mates 2 bedroom flat rather than a hotel on this occasion.

Needs booking I think. Book one, and i'll split it with you.
Re: More UK Tour Dates 2012
As much as I want to share a room with you guys, my sister still isn't up for it. As she doesn't really know a lot of you she's not comfortable with it
also she's still annoyed at us being asked to leave another hotel a while back (even though it got sorted out).
That's why I wanted to stay in the same hotel as everyone, even if not the same room. Because then I could hang with you guys and if my sister wanted to go to bed or whatever she could just go, wouldn't have to walk anywhere alone etc.
Maybe one day she'll change her tune but at the moment she ain't budging!

Why did you get asked to leave a hotel??
