Tattoos & Piercings?

What's your thoughts on them? Like them? Don't like them?

I like the idea of tattoos when they have some type of stronger meaning behind them. I don't like it when people get a tattoo because it "looks cool" in most cases though. As for piercings, I like them and think they can look nice. But it can easily be overdone.

My parents are proper against tattoos. I'd like to get one but I don't think i'd ever be able to decide what to get and whether I'd be able to live with it!

I always wanted to get a lip piercing, not anymore now though haha!

I think they're awesome so long as it's not over done. Like get a tattoo hear and there or a piercing hear and there, that's fine. It's when people cover their entire bodies with them that it gets to be annoying. We're not canvases, you should still have some part of yourself.

My parents are highly against tattoos aswell. I'd like to get one maybe some day but as it stands now I can't. I work at a pool so I have to go in the water alot, which would ruin the tattoo.

It's the opposite for me. My parents are fine with tattoos as long as it's not on my face or something, haha. I want to get a lip piercing when I turn 18 (2 days!), but my parents are really against it if it isn't on the ear. I'm trying to talk them into it though.

My mum's fine with the fact I've got a tattoo already because she knows it means something to me and she said she'd get the same too. I've booked my next tattoo for next monday and me and my sister are gonna get the same kind of thing because we've always been really close. As for piercings, my mums fine with all of mine apart from my tongue and my stretcher; mainly my tunnel because she thinks I'll regret it when i'm older and have a wrinkly ear ahaha

I love tattoos, so long as they aren't those really tacky meaningless ones that people just get for the sake of a tattoo. Also, people who have their own names tattooed on them or people who have tattoo's in languages they can't speak really piss me off.
Piercings are fine in certain places. I think as long as you don't have them EVERYWHERE or do things like this guy, then you're fine...

Yeah, and it isn't that I don't like non meaningful tattoos, most of them are really bad though. One of the things that i'm the biggest fan of is when people start a tattoo on their arms and keep getting more and more into it grows into basically a sleeve of stories! Haha

Anyway, as for artistic tattoos this has to be my favorite one. It's a double helix and jellyfish sort of thing. The guy is really into science and I think biology so it fits him nicely.

I love tattoos and piercings. It's your body, do what you want. Sure, people with Winnie the Pooh tattoos look like fucking dickheads to me, but they like it so whatever. I've always preferred to regret things I have done than the 'what ifs'.

I haven't got any tattoos, but I reckon once I get one and get it over and done with I'd be likely to get a lot more. Have a few in mind.
As for piercings, I only have my ears done but I want to get my nose done and possibly my tongue.

These things will become a reality when I realise I'm an alcoholic and stop spending all my money on sweet sweet liquor.
