Phone hacking escandalo

Post by Poppins on Fri 08 Jul 2011, 6:05 pm

Good news, everyone! The News of the World, or more accurately 'The Arsehole of the Murdoch Empire' is putting out its last issue this weekend.

Any thoughts on this?

My favourite part of the whole affair is how it seems like every other newspaper has gotten sick of News International's bleating about the liberal media conspiracy and ganged up to show them what power an actual media coalition can do.

Giving the ad revenue to charity is the least they could do tbh...

Hopefully the rest of News corp will follow (and the BSkyB takeover reassessed/banned).

Look at what Fox has done to America and think about where we're headed if Murdoch and his cronies dominate even more of the media here.

Funny how like 300 people lose their jobs and Murdoch and that frizzy cow are basically untouched. Like hell didn't they know about the phone hacking.
FUCK THE MURDOCRACY.

Bit of shinfo, my dad hasn't let us had Sky in the house for years and he's convinced basically all the pubs and cafés within our three mile radius to stop doing The Times.

Jarvis Cocker from Pulp used said issue to elaborately wipe his arse onstage at T in the Park on Sunday. That was pretty hilarious.
