New song- Quelle Surprise

Last night in Houston, Shikari played a new song for the first time.

I definitely heard "If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything". And the intro had a very rap-ish feel to it, kinda like Tribalism.
I wasn't so sure of it, think I'm going to have to have a few more listens for it to grow on me.

Yeah, sorry my description is not the best, hopefully some YouTube videos will pop up soon.

i think this is awesome, i'm not being a fan boy. i really really like it in my opinion.

If the new album turns out to be like this I shall be bitterly disapointed, kinda had a feeling this might happen though.

give it a chance when it comes out, i know not everyone liked it here but destabilise didn't sound too good live until it was released. :)

I don't know about it. I'm not the biggest fan of it but I'm going to wait for a proper release before making my final descision.

Actually i'm warming up to this after a couple of listens. The synths sound beast. The studio version will definitely sound better. Rob's actually doing some TTTS-esque drumming and the guitar tone is pretty sweet!

Really wanna hear that track that was played at the beginning of In The Low part 1!

I really don't mind it, cant wait to hear the recorded version.

I know what you mean its just for me Tribalism and Destabalise were fairly poor tracks, and this sounds like it is heading further in that direction, it sounds like its getting more dubsteppy and hiphoppy. Common Dreads was the perfect blend of dubstep and hardcore for me, having said that its not like I was expecting them to stick to that sound for the new album, it ways always going to be another new sound.
Can't really judge anything on this though, could just be having a little experimental stage and seeing how it goes, could be on to the next big thing and its just going completely over my head.

Hopefully I'm completely wrong and I will be eating humble pie come summer.

I'm enjoying it to be honest, will be an absolute great one to see live, I'm liking it a lot unlike all you cynics haha
