'Low 2011
The guys are back in the 'low writing and demoing songs. But while the wait for the 3rd album seems to long, we have our first (of hopefully many more to come!) hilarious video to keep us entertained

I'm liking the sound of the one with the shake weight samples, sounds like the album'll be shaping up nicely, bit of variety as far as sounds go

Re: 'Low 2011
i was in stitches at the whole beard growth/metal sound thing, for a good ten minutes.
i'm not sure why.
glad to see the lads back in the 'low, can't wait for this album & another tour though. sounding sick & i've only heard about three seconds of stuff!

Re: 'Low 2011
ES have started using Warnerisms it seems by calling the new stuff 'very juicy, very juicy indeed'. I wouldn't be suprised if there was an ode to Maryland Chicken on this album.

I don't like the idea of being able to hear good chunks of new songs. I don't mind small samples but I'd rather wait till finish articles. So I'll be avoiding this I think.

Agreed, not that I have any choice, I'll still be at work when they are broadcasting.

they just played that breakdown from the video from a laptop, it's not giving much away at all, just them eating cake and answering some questions

Haha, is cake eating going to be a regular occurrence in the 'low videos this year or something?

Yes but the shakeweight will keep them fighting fit i'm sure
Re: 'Low 2011
But they did have salad and soup as well? So maybe they will stay healthy haha
I think not watching these just because you don't want to hear 20 second clips of songs, that you'll then forget by the times the album comes out, is all a bit stupid imo.

You misunderstood me! I do like watching low clips with 20 second samples because it gives a good idea of the sound without giving too much away. My concern was that with the STREAMS that we'll end up hearing larger parts of songs. This is just the demo process so it's unlikely alot of these songs will not be the finished article. I'd rather wait come the october to hear them in full. If it's just as you said, then I might tune in.
Re: 'Low 2011
Is there anyway of recoding the ustream shows so those still at work can view them later?

Re: 'Low 2011
Hah, equiping a studio with retro gaming systems is a good idea.
The game Chris is on about is Toejam and Earl.
Pretty trippy, you had to go along saving children and killing people that lurk in bushes as I remember..
