hehe mate its not anything to buy, you just enter the code when you would normally buy a ticket, it just enters you into a competition.

Sonisphere were looking for ambassadors, if you look on the official page, I was chosen for Newcastle's. So i'll be promoting there, but the code is mine to give to whoever.

Sorry! Should have read it first, didn't realise it said "win", had just relised and was about to edit my post. I may go to sonisphere this year, not too sure, line-up looks pretty rad. Haven't got the money to buy a ticket yet though, when does weekend camping usually sellout by?

to be honest I went just for Rammsteing last year, I didn't even listen to most of the lineup and thoroughly enjoyed everyone. There's something about being outside that's mint! Just makes everything great, and the alcohol!

Well do you know about the deposit scheme? You pay a small deposit and that keeps you a ticket until you can pay the rest of the balance? £50 deposit

anyway, I didn't hear of anything selling out till 2 months after, but people are expecting this to sell quicker. So I would recommend buying the deposit ticket thing first.

Ahhhhhh, not sure I would have the rest of the money together by then got a load of boring responsiable stuff I need to spend money on over the next couple of months. I might still see if I can pick up a ticket once I have the money though. Thanks for the info though and the code thing .
Just out of interest, whats the incentive for being an 'Ambassador'? Do you get cut price tickets I guess, like the volunteers at reading?

I just volunteered to promote and get experience, I work in promotions anyway Plus its a way to get contacts
