Download 2011

System of a Down and Ozzy headlining (announced on Monday) and the rumour is Foo Fighters too (I dont see that happening).

Bit meh for me so far but download is never about the headliners for me (only linkin park, rage, slipknot, maiden and metallica in my 8 years of going have done it for me, I guess Bizkit too but they pulled out their headline year). Hopefully LB will be back, no Es this year sadly....maybe get ADTR back?The heavy metal band A would be epic too.

i've been told it's highly likely that paramore will be near the top of/headlining a stage since they were supposed to be doing so this year, until r/l offered them more money. i hope that doesn't happen though. i can see the hatemail and flying bottles of piss already.

I think thjey were asked to subheadline the 2nd stage at download to 30STM this year. management wanted mainstage and went to Leeds (even though Download 2nd stage is about the size of L/R main, and would have drawn as many people).
They would go down well "out of the way" ie away from main, 2nd stage at download is good for giving big bands a big stage witha lot of people but keeping the metulz away.

soaD are gash live though....love all of their albums but live they are so disappointing.

yeah that sounds about right. i suppose they probably would go down alright on the right stage but meh, i just can't really picture them doing it. watch this space i suppose (and i've got a horrible feeling they'll be doing T next year).

ADTR would be the first band to be booked four years in a row, I doubt they'll be over again.

The heavy metal band A have got their own stage similar to that AC/DC had last year. Rumour is DPC is doing an dj set at that Turks afterwards as well.

The 2nd stage at Dl aint as big as Leeds main you noob Kev hahaha. Hopefully I'll have the cash to go again this year cus it's such a laugh whatever the line up.

Haha as far as I was aware it was 2 headliners yesterday.

I think Im gonna be at Download and either ROock am Ring or Hurricane, giving me 2 fests in a row, then if the Leeds lineup is good, heading there again.

Wish I had 6 fests again this summer haha.
