Viruses

My friend just texted me to say that my hotmail account has a virus... And it's sent around loads of messages on my account.
I'm so useless when it comes to viruses and stuff, is anyone able to help me out here?

Also if anyone does have me on msn or anything, just don't open that email!

I think I sorted it now, but keep this thread open I guess just incase anyone else needs help with viruses etc!
