'Destabilise'

Discuss.

My opinion is that it's epic and that we all need to fucking erupt.

Do rate. Though I may spark a full on scene assault on dubstep.

doesnt really sounds like shikari... i reckon album 3 will be even more diffrent
the change from take to the skies to common dreads to tribalism was bigg but i reckon from tribalism to the 3rd album will be even bigger.

Jack pointed this out too, why have Rob's drum patterns become so boring?
They're pretty predictable.

They've become more diluted since Common Dreads it seems, I think as the electronics became more prominent the drums became less so. Common dreads and everything after it has pretty dull drumming in my humble opinion, not knocking Rob's technique at all, just the patterns themselves are more basic.

Good song though...although I'm sensing more and more that one band member in particular is having more of an influence over the newer stuff than anyone else.

I noticed that too. I'm wondering whether or not this is that big of a deal though... From what I can hear (in a shitty youtube version), the song is fucking immense.

Really... Look at the progression though. It went from no electronics (all the way back to Hybryd) to almost being more electronic than not.

I love it!

Little dubstep breakdown is class and the song is way heavier than alot of the tracks on Common Dreads.

Tom has a point here, if that was the case the other band members were just playing their instruments and not having any creative freedom in the writing of tracks Enter Shikari would cease to exist.

As I'm sure has happened with many bands over the years, once they realise they are the backing band for someone else's idea of songs.

But I don't imagine you'll be seeing an Enter Shikari breakup any time soon. They don't appear to be the take drugs get in fights and break up the band kind of band, they're all pretty close friends eh?

Because there is no way, no way in hell that the rest of the band might just want to also take the band in this direction! Rory's really into his dubstep at the moment, him and Rob are both interested in/experimenting with producing electronic music. But that's irrelevant, it's almost definitely that Rou has taken over the band. Damn nazi.

I think what Matt's saying here is that Chris is definitely leaving the band.

Was about to say that, better dust of our bass guitars and get practising for auditions.

Burgess can take over his vocals after his inspiring efforts on stage at Camden.
