Q. Are you religious?
A .In terms of believing in a superhuman entity/entities that made and/or control our universe? No. No, not at all. Science is far more interesting; to accept that we don't yet know is far more interesting than to make up stories as to why/how we are here.
I am not scared of not knowing.
Q. When Step Up clothing is up and running, would you ever consider opening it for anyone who may have an idea for a design or want to get involved?by allieoldfield
A. Hopefully it will be up and running by this summer... It's been a huge ball-ache but we're almost there with the first batch of designs now. Sourcing the right garments has been tough as. But yes I'd love to get as many people involved in as many ways as possible.
Q. Ever thought of taking JBM on a world tour with you?
A. Many times, our message is misogyny is one that needs to be spread globally the sooner the better!haha
Q. Tom Warner or Lee Burgess?
A. That's like saying ketchup or mayo? Both equally imperative to improve any culinary delight.
Amazing answer. Couldn't have put a better metaphor.

Q. What are your thoughts on the forumers who follow you guys round the U.K? Creepy stalkers or devoted fans who you'd consider your friends?
A. The latter definitely. Sometimes seeing those familiar faces in the crowd is the difference from it being a dry show to being a wicked show to remember.

Re: Rou's Formspring
I dont like some of his answers. The whole "your not allowed an opinion" yet all he ever talks about these days is Israe/Gaza (yes, israel fires rockets at schools and hospitals, but when the Palistinians set up there bases there and fire ammo at you, what do you do, stand and take it?).
Everyone has values and whats important to them might not be important to you, me or him. Intelligence to Rou might be saving the planet etc etc where intelligence to a London cabbie might mean knowing every street in the city. Each others importance is negligable to the other but no less important to the individual.
As for the racism thing, justifying this whole ant-white movement in the uk by saying that caucasians of the past were anti black is rediculous. 2 wrongs dont make a right and to be honest, if I was a minority and all these trendy lefties thought the only way I could get a job/into uni is by my skin colour and not my intelligence, Id be hugely insulted.

There probably has been. But Rou seems to want mostly political questions.
Re: Rou's Formspring
he answered the ones i asked about the daft sandwich, and about the new gaga video.
just thinking of random stuff really.
i asked a few others, but he must'a not liked them. haha.
it'd be cool if he did answer a few more of the fun questions, or the shikari related ones.
but i suppose with all the interviews and meeting fans, questions about the band must get a bit monotonous.

Re: Rou's Formspring
I thought his cinema armrest question was awesome.
I think his view on opinions is quite interesting really. Because if someone is ignorant towards something, and yet makes opinions on the subject, and others hear said opinions, they aren't getting any valuable information from a credible source. But then again one could make the argument that he isn't a credible source therefore his opinion shouldn't be considered.
And I don't see any mentions of anti-white movements or them being justified...

Recentely at school we have been studying racism. I percieved it as 2 hours of us being told that the white british population are all racists. It enfuriated me, the fact that there was no mention of whites being descriminated, does that make me a racist?
I presume you were studying the history of Racism though? In which it has mostly always been caucasian people discriminating against other races.
IF that is was what Kappa was talking about.

That's what I thought, and I think his interpretation of that if that is the one he is referring to is a bit off.

I absolutely love how Rou words things.
Aww.

I think he is justifying this whole anti white, pro minority movement that is sweeping the UK. It seems that the less of you there are in the country, the more rights you have, and that British born white males have absolutly no rights. Let me make this clear- Im not one of these fascist BNP idiots who wants all minoritiers out, I just want a level playing field for everyone.
I would be furious if i didnt get into a university place or get a job despite being the best candidate, because I was white.
Re: Rou's Formspring
I see your point, and that's somewhat occuring in America as well. As in, some companies hiring minorites over better qualified whites to make their company look better, and that's blatantly wrong. I just didn't get that he was justifying it from his answer, but everyone has their own interpretation.
Re: Rou's Formspring
Tommy k wrote:there has not been one enter shikari related question answered.
Actually he is ignoring them it seems.
I've asked two. One of which is "What musical direction do you think Enter Shikari will head down for a 3rd album?" and also something else similar, none of which were answered. I don't think he wants to answer anything Shikari related.
Re: Rou's Formspring
He has answered some...
Q.What do you feel on stage?
A. oof. I'm usually mentally filing and organising the weeks economic figures into decreasing numerical value in order to analyse closely the variants and anomalies.
hahaha
Well no really I don't know, sometimes just nothing, just living in the moment, sometimes things can pop into your head that are completely random and knock your concentration though!
This is sort of related to the band I guess -
Q. Do you consider yourself 'lucky' to be in the position you are now, or just feel it's a by-product of your hard work?
A. I am definitely lucky, but we have also worked extremely hard.
I don't really believe in natural talent; anyone can do anything they want if they put the time and practice in and have opportunity with a pinch of luck too! They say on average it takes 10,000 hours to 'perfect a skill'. So I guess you just have to start young! (that's not to say i feel i've perfected anything! far from it!)
Also, someone asked about lions, but it was sort of in political way but it is semi to do with ES. He can pick and choose what he wants to answer, guess he just doesnt want to talk about the band. No surprise has didnt answer the question about what musical direction they are going in.

Why is it? I hardly asked him to reveal every plan and thought he has about what they want to do. But it seems odd that he doesn't want to say anything at all. Surely they have some idea what they're going to be doing. Seems odd that he wouldn't want to share at least a little with their fans.
