He was such a good bass player live.... some of the improvisations he did over songs like Vermillion were just amazing...

...Although, to be honest the conversation between my girlfriend telling me when I was in bed this morning as she left for work went along the lines of:

"Someone from Slipknot has died"
"*Lifts head from pillow suddenly* WHO?!?!!!!!"
"..Errm...Paul Gray"
"Oh okay then *relieved*"

My dad text me about this last night. So sad. It looks to me like suicide.

I reckon Slipknot will call it a day now. We'v lost far too many rockers this year.

Doubt Slipknot will stop, just take a break for a while. And it was an overdose on drugs in his hotel room.
