Tribalism (Press Release)

Post by Tommy k on Wed 09 Dec 2009, 8:47 am

'TRIBALISM' - CD - http://www.entershikari.com/store/products,tribalism-cd-album_52.htm
A sort of limited edition 'companion' album to 'Common Dreads'.
Compiles a selection of B-sides ('All Eyes On The Saint' and the Live in 2007 version of Faithless's 'Insomnia', from the long-deleted and gone 'We Can Breathe In Space' single), remixes (including the long-awaited HIGH CONTRAST REMIS OF 'WALL', which gets its first release on this album), other stuff ('We Can Breath In Space', plus three live tracks from the 'Live @ Rock City' official bootleg), AND MOST IMPORTANTLY... TWO BRAND NEW TRACKS! yes indeed... recorded at the end of 2009 with Andy Gray down on the Isle Of WIght, two completely new tracks, 'THUMPER' and 'TRIBALISM'.
Think of this as 'Common Dreads' version of 'The Zone'... but better.

'LIVE @ ROCK CITY' - BOOTLEG SERIES PART.2 - CD - http://www.entershikari.com/store/products,live-at-rock-city-bootleg-cd_53.htm
Like the 'Live @ Milton Keynes' CD, this was once again multi-track recorded and mixed by our pal Dave WIlkie from DW Audio (dw-audio.com).
This time in front of a sweaty as hell crowd packed into Nottingham's legendary Rock City during the October '09 tour.
pretty much the full set (unfortunately, technical problems made the versions of Jester and Sorry You're Not A Winner unusable... sorry) in rowdy stereo.

'TRIBALISM' - T-shirt - http://www.entershikari.com/store/products,tribalism-tshirt_54.htm
Made to be part of the 'Tribalism' box set bundle... we thought we'd make a few available outside of that for a short period of time.
2 colour front and back on a charcoal grey shirt, the art features lyrics of 'Tribalism' in the lion shape, with the phrase 'we won't stay silent' picked out in light grey (the back has ENTER SHIKARI logo in light grey, and TRIBALISM in same colour as the lion).

TRIBALISM - BOX SET - http://www.entershikari.com/store/products,tribalism-limited-edition-boxset_60.htm
A bit of a fancy-pants item for the more dedicated ES-o-phile.
The box contains;
- the 'Tribalism' not-so-mini CD mini-album
- the 'Live @ Rock City - Bootleg Series Part.2' CD album
- a double sided poster (exclusive to the box)
- 2 x button badges (exclusive to the box)
- a sticker (exclusive to the box)
and its bundles with...
- the limited edition 'Tribalism' t-shirt

'TRIBALISM' - CD + T-shirt bundle - http://www.entershikari.com/store/products,tribalism-limited-edition-cd-and-tshirt_61.htm
Don't feel you need a box set in your life, but still want to look sexy while you listen to your nifty new 'Tribalism' CD?
Well...
Get the CD and the shirt together for a special price.

release date is 22nd FEBRUARY.
pre-orders will be sent out to arrive on or near that date (historically, some folks have gotten their orders BEFORE the release date, some ON the release date, some AFTER... once we've sent them, its in the hands of the post office and your local sorting office, but we send out with a view to arrival ON release date).

You can get hold of it here http://www.entershikari.com/store/category,music_1.htm

finally i can talk about this.
i knew about Tribalism but not Thumper lol, prefer the previous name to Tribalism though.

Sounds cools, hopefully it won't get put down as being a BMTH copycat idea since ES have been getting guest remixes for over 2 years now.

some new shiny 12" vinyls for my collection yay!
