INTERVIEW A FAN ON TOUR

Hey guys....

With the new (and almost final for 2011) UK dates approaching, Im looking to get interviews of fans done. Not just current members of the board, but the general fans at the gigs, to post here. Can I ask you all to submit ideas for questions here, and Il choose a list to egt asked in a final version? I may try and nab one of the band for an interview but usually by the time I get talking to them Im pretty pissed so I wont be able to record anything thats said.

Also, if your keen to interview people (or be interviewed yourself) at some of the tour please volunteer yourself. Someone to interview the band at the Blackpool extravaganza would be ACE.....just say in your reply in this thread something like this...

My questions are "Where did you first hear about ENter Shikari" etc etc and "Im willing to be interviewed, and Id like to interview someone in the crowd and the band at Blackpool"

When I get everything together after the tour is finished, your interview and a thank you will be on here!!

it probably wont be video based. Unless anyone brings anythin decent at recording. Sound,paper,video mobile is most likely.

If you can sort it for glasgow i will take my video camera for after the show.. if you can arrange it.

What drew you to them?
What's your favorite album/song? Why?
What's your favorite lyric? Why?
Do you think more bands should incorporate positive social messages into their music like ES have?
What do you think the most important ES song is? Why?
What do you think of their online community?
Have you met any good friends via their online community?

I don't really know what type of questions you want but there's some ideas.

Those are really good questions! I especially like the ones about the online community. (: haha Some questions I would ask if I could would be:
What direction do you think ES will (or should) head with their future albums?
What were your first impressions of the band (music wise, performance wise, if you met them as people...)?
Do you think the fact that they aren't tied to a major label a key to their success?
What is your favorite memory involving ES (a concert memory, meeting a new friend because of them, etc etc)?

That's all I can think of at the moment... I might think of more later since I have nothing to do being stuck inside thanks to this sneaky snowstorm. haha

I didnt think Jennie was going to any dates this tour. I like the idea but can't think of any more good questions atm.
